SOMETIME ITS LOUD, SOMETIMES IT’S LITE,
BUT I CANT DENY, THE VIEW IS A DELIGHT.
THE TREES JUST SANG A SONG FOR ME,
BUT I'VE FORGOTTEN THE LINES,
I FEEL SO PURE TODAY,
I FEEL SUBLIME
BIRDS ARE FLYING WITH A FEELING OF GLEE
WITH NO FEAR OF SLAUGHTER THEY FEEL FREE
AS SOON AS RAIN DROPS FALL ON MY FACE
I FORGET THE TROUBLES AND MY LIFE FILLS UP WID GRACE
THE COLD DROPS CREATE A CHILL IN MY BODY,
I AM 7 AGAIN AND ACT NAUGHTY.
I MAY SOUND KIDDISH SAYING HOW IT’S BEEN
TODAY I AM FEELING LIKE A QUEEN.
NO HINT OF WORRY NO SIGN OF PAIN,
When they were blue,
They gave no clue.
When they were white,
Everything seemed to be so perfect and right.
When they were green,
Life was being selfish and mean.
