Biography of Sonny San Juan, Jr.

E. San Juan, Jr. directs the Philippines Cultural Studies Center in Connecticut, USA. he received his degrees from the University of the Philippines and Harvard University. He taught in various universities, among them the University of California, Davis; Brooklyn College of the City University of New York; Washington State University; and the University of Connecticut. He was recently Fulbright professor of American Studies at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium; visiting professor of literature at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan; and fellow of the Rockefeller Study Center at Bellagio, Italy. This Spring 2008 he will be visiting professor of English & Comparative Literature at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines.
