From the good old days that didn't last
Once hard-working, now jobless, they can't subsist
Our nation's middle-class strength no longer exists

The expression, “Tongue In Cheek” is conjectural
Is it in there just for fun or to be sexual
It’s more than just symbolic
This cheeky organ frolic

“A body at rest tends to remain at rest….”
My body seems to do that best
My wife insists I rest too long
Her critical appraisal may not be wrong
...

Be quiet! Don't make a sound!
Speak when you're spoken to!
What awful fearful bounds
Speaking only on cue
...

That’s a lot of croc
There’s nothing pleasant about their features
Their Skin’s as hard as rock
...

Malapropisms are wordy misuse
Totally fraught with wordy abuse
Linguistically, wordy erroneous
Nomenclature-ly wordy felonious
...

“My Country Tis Of Thee”
Has stood the test of history
But it’s meaning verbally
For me is still a mystery
...

Its’ stately white exterior
The White House
Touched by color
Now proudly glows
...
