I have begun reading Stewart's poems this morning and find a series of gems no poet lover should miss. His writing is full of lovely images, thought-provoking ideas and is extremely controlled. Budding poets should study what he does.

Rtfm 20 The Ghost In The Words

The ghost in the words
The voice in the signs
The figure in the scribbles
That hides between the lines
Can make you laugh
Can make you cry
Can make you think
That you can fly

Rtfm 29 Speedy Sellare

Celery has nothing to do with speed
Accelerating neither cognitive nor laxative functions
The root is “sellare”
An old French word for the plant
Not “celer”
A Latin word for speed
