Memories Forever

When I woke up on a Sunday morning, momma said to me, your grandfather is dead. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I saw grief break the bones of my aunts. I saw her, my grandmother, choking on sadness, gripping the hands of her sons, clinging to things she would never have. I walked through the corridors and knew the tunnel was this. No tears. Yet I was crying, But didn't show them at all. I walked back to the room and held their hands, they gave me a tight hug, I felt numb, wishing that I could get him back. He was brave, he was strong, he had his own way of living life. God loved him more than me so he took him away. Then they buried him, I burst out into tears. And still remember those sweet little moments spent with him. 😭😭 He always inspired me to lead a fearless life. A life without conditions. Today on his birthday all I have are those wonderful, priceless flashy memories ‪#‎HappyBirthday‬ ‪#‎Grandpa‬ ‪#‎IMissYouALot‬. ‪#‎23rdJune‬ 😞 On His Birthday I Wrote About His death..! !
