There once was a forest
spreading from the sea,
whose roots held time
as the years grew moss,
a dark place of memory
where I was lost and found;
Where now is that forest
that grew within me?
Where are those giants

Who stole the laughter

A Long Road Home

Dreams of endless roads,
Open flats and snaking ghats;
One with wind and rain!

When they ask why, I
Tell them of Home far away -
Green hills and the Sea.

Every forest a
different green; So much to
See - I cannot stay!
