This is my grandmother I never met. She died of blood poisoning at the age of 40. She had two children, Raymond and Ruth Rutland. She married Frederick Rutland and came to America in 1923. As far as I can tell, her poetry was written before she was married. After she married and when she immigrated to America, she went by the name May Rutland.
