Layer upon layer of limpet terror
As the crude city lives on snatches a breath
I crouch like a crab under the comfort of a nightmare…

That urchin from the gutters
Throws stones at your house
He may not look so pretty
But certainly not a mouse

I may have foolishly endorsed
Liars, looters and murderers
Perhaps only to survive…

वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्

O mankind! revere your Guardian-Lord Who created you from a single person created of like nature his mate and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women (Holy Quran)
