Dear Sylvia, Yesterday, it took so long to write this tribute to you. Each time, it would slip off due to some error and i had to wait for it to re-start. Today morning, i wish to continue and complete my write on you with my warmest good wishes and fond regards, for a long life of happiness with your family and a lot many poems in Poem Hunter to enthrall all your poet friends. I have been thinking of writing on your page for long. At last, by God's grace, i feel blessed to write on this page.

Sylvia radiates so much of warmth, friendliness and love through her poems that the Poets of Poem Hunter are bathed in the shower of affection to her fellow Poets, her deep sense of love for her family and above all, a great feeling of respect for the humanity as whole.

Sylvia is my very special Poetess friend because she is the only one in Poem Hunter who has witnessed my live performance on stage, dancing Mohiniattam, years back in Amsterdam. That makes it a very special bond with Sylvia through my art form.

Sylvia Frances Chan is a divine Poetess. What attracts me to her poetry is her love for God and her firm conviction that God Is, God exists, God is Supreme and God is the Absolute Truth.

Sylvia Frances Chan is a great poetess of the world and as the world-traveler she has gained many experiences. She has attained grand-motherhood and at present she sings the beautiful songs for her grandchild who is in Thailand now with her son and daughter-in-law. As a grandmother she is a very affectionate poetess and time speaks about history of new generation as she is very happy hearing the pronunciation of her two years old grandchild. Her new poems are very sweet.

Sylvia Frances Chan is a great poetess of English and Dutch who has strong motivational power and a kind heart. She is honest and very brilliant. She has deep observation quality too. Her each poem carries greater values for mankind and there are lots of things to learn. I love reading her poems as I get immense pleasure from her philosophic works. I know her since long and personally I greet her for her rising success. She is a great personality leading in the poetic world.

Grow Old With You?

Grow old with you?
Come on, sit down on my knees
I'll tell you about the butterflies and the bees
Now I am still young forever
Grow old with you? That never!

Don't pick off my very youth
seek among the olds your truth
Come on old man, sit next to me, don't go to the south
sit next to me, not on my knees, I'll kiss you on the mouth

Don't tell that you're my lover
Don't tell that I am your friend
Don't tell that you're a glover
because what we are doing is a trend

Grow old with you? That never!
Don't pick off my very youth ever
love ...

Life Is Hard....

this poem was written on April 2007 in my own website (Multiply.Com)

Life is hard
I looked into your heart
so lonely as forgotten
I took a glance at your face
so sad as never
I look into my mind
yours is active
