Tania Tome is an award winning and well known business woman, entrepreneur, economist, banker, socio-activist, writer and poet.

Multitalented Award winner, Mozambique President's Certificate of Merit winner 2014 by Mozambican Presidency, Academic Prize (Portugal - Africa) winner by Portuguese President and Palop Diplomatic Representations.

She is currently the Head of New Business and Investments of Ecokaya and Co-Founder (www.ecokaya.com) , President of Mozambican NGO for Development, Member of National Economy Association. Past professionals positions include BNI Capital Coordinator of National Bank of Investment, Head of Credit and Risk Mitigation of GAPI, and Head of Investment Services of Gapi - Development Agency.

Academics and professional Awards include; Mozambique President's Certificate of Merit winner 2014 received from Mozambican President; Woman Leadership Award 2014 (IVLP Program) By USA Government & American Embassy; Economic Academic Prize Portugal - Africa received from Portuguese President Mário Soares and Palop Diplomatic Representations; Selected by Contacto/SONAE - Portuguese Group Company - Portugal National Competition; Rank as number 1# in Linked-in among bank and finance professionals (100) .

Tania Tome holds Postgraduate in Management Control and Auditory. A Economic degree by Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Faculdade de Economia e Gestão, Porto, Portugal, as well as Investment Projects & entrepreneurship by Certform, Portugal and Economic Valuation for Mineral projects by Ietec Brazil.

A multitalented business thinker and a great net worker with immense oratory skills, Tomé is also a speaker and gave many media interviews and seminars in many organizations, such as Mozambican Presidency, Development Agencies, Mozambican Ministries, NGOs, associations, Universities and schools.

She has participated in economic studies of projects of great input to help to reduce poverty in local communities, lectures on creative economics - " How culture and Creative Economy could contribute for Sustainable Development" , Women and young empowerment, entrepreneurship, Business Plans and Platforms for SMEs and many others subjects. Tomé was the only african representant at X International Meeting of Intellectuals in Latin American where the topics of discussion were: development, peace and environment.
