A Slience So Loud

I have never experienced a silence so loud.
The deafening pound of my heart, and all the insufferable thoughts
Were overbearing and controlling the rhythm of my breath.
Scenarios of you finding out were running a marathon in my oppressed mind.
Glitter seeps through my skin and dampens my forehead,
To the thinking of you finding out;
Who I am.
What I have done,
And what I am not.
