    There was a time when I wrote many poems with many different themes, all mixed together and it was not possible to easily choose specific themes, favourite themes to follow. Someone once critized me for just writing poems then neglecting them, not looking after them, doing anything with them. I thought it was enough to write and give freely.
    Now I will try to find time to put together and attempt to eventually publish five books, all with differing themes of nature, all interacting with the previous books, because the shift within these different interacting themes of nature; create stories and attain a rich perspective with multiple insights into nature and sometimes the interactive nature of humanity in past and contemporary societies.
    The first of these books 'Eagles Soar On High Thermals' is now available. If you want to enter into the beauty peace diversity of nature and also a few contemporary global issues involving contemporary global interaction with nature, then this book is a gift for you. The second book 'Ghost Eagle Still Flies Ghost Skies' which continue this exploration of nature and be available soon. Enjoy the read.

    Terence's poetry is unique and it has all aspects of life such as social, economical, political and deeply contemplative! I see more of humility and peace in his poems :)

    Terence (a constructor of spectral images and painter of light image) is a poet who has big voice on harmony and always scream for peace.
    If you wonder of this poet's style, for me it really diverse but intellectual is
    everywhere, and that actually the signature of his write. I feel great to collaborate with this talented writer. Personally i recognise him as a good hearted person, also i refer as faith lover person, in many poem he wrote about humanity, he is one of the person who always encourage me to write poetry in my early time.Thank you Terence. I believe you will find your interest subject in few of Terence poetry.Try some and what you say? Wow! Awesome! Terence is on line. Read his book years ago. A friend said the dedication was worth the whole book. Duno what 2 say. Obvious Ricky didn't read him though. We could not find any poems stating what he believed God was when we discussed him. The meaningsof some poems. Only his varied insights. Hummm I know I'll write what the book says about his poetry.Blurb from The Book Guild Limited.

    LEMMINGS INTO THE SEA

    The poet, like the potter,
    takes the raw clay of thoughts
    and shapes them... ’

    into poems.

    Using an image as old as poetry itself, Terence Craddock here proclaims that he too is a ‘maker’, as the ancient Scots had it: a craftsman whose chosen medium is words; one for whom to write poetry is as natural as breathing.
    Craddock is a New Zealander by birth, it may well surprise European readers that for him Christmasses are warm. He writes love songs as tender as lullabies, anti-nuclear protests as powerful as any politcian’s polemic, delights in paradox ad riddle. The most random thought is ‘captured immediately / in the net of pages’.

    It is difficult to separate what a poet has to say from how he says it, but it is clear that Craddock’s strength is in his fecund word play, his ingenious and original use of language. To cite an obvious example, the poem ‘Foolmoon’ neatly reminds readers of the age-old connection between lunacy and the Moon. Lemmings Into The Sea is a collection to be savoured, relished.

    This volume of verse is dedicated

    to Humanity

    Over and above. All found there.

    In dedication to All who love.

    Their fellow man.

    Though I appreciate your concern for my holy well being, as well as your interest toward my work, I do not feel this is the proper venue to express your desire to make me religious in any way. But your other comments are very nice. There are some good suggestions.

    And yes, too often have I seen 'God's Power'. I once believed in a god similar to yours. I came to a personal rapture. It has caused nothing but murder and agony for thousands of years. But it is just my belief. You may hold whatever beliefs you feel are appropriate for yourself.

Maya Angelou: A Phenomenal Woman?

Me thinks much ink
has been spilt
over the poem;
‘Phenomenal Woman’
by Maya Angelou.

Me thinks it is time
I stuck my oar in
had my say;
hopefully in a far
less controversial way.

So I ask all these supposedly
expert men who
read read read her poem;
then see red red red
who is Maya Angelou?

A Phenomenal Woman?

And to a man these reds do not know?

Do they also not know
that it is personal choice;
which poems poets writers we like?
All have differing tastes
all are entitled to their opinion! ...

The Stranger

It was on Queen Street
Auckland, we mystically met.
I hurried past up hill
to swiftly change in hotel room.
I felt presence reach
out, as I rapidly pasted.
I stopped; to glance around.
What had arrested motion?
