Ever tasting so good
Or chicken noodle soup, so tasty;
Must have always been the cook;

For my arms to hold you?

In this season 'O living and sweet blooming love
Your gentle hands shall guide me on my journey
Into our promised land- so high above;

The whole truth is tucked in tiny holes...

And what mattered little- matters most-

Even though our block is larger now
We still relish the sand to the concrete
Skyscraper ways and bustling days
Leave us feeling, somehow, incomplete

What is this field of flowers?
With cover of blue sky & Autumn sun?
Roses still abloom aplenty
Even as frosty day has begun
...

It's a sweet mystery of life...
How you decrease the distance
Between two points
By swallowing my smiles

Short of ending up like Kafka
Who toiled in obscurity
And died peniless
I work myself up
...

Cancer laid itself down
Like black muck
Upon white lace
Devouring every inch
