The Angel And The Wolf

Wrought with persistence,
tender and vulnerable,
alone with doubt
tumbling forward,
quiet in the corner,
high enough,
with a cup of courage,
smelling fear,
a chance taken,
she is waiting
for them both,
the angel and the wolf.

The Leaf And The Wind

They met in the wind,
together discreetly lifting
off the ground, taking flight,
blowing in circles, together they rise,
as if pulling each other higher,
twisting upward, body and soul
by the tall limbs of the birch,
slowly dancing round and around
in midair, before cautiously floating down,
