Whenever I think of you
Those words fill my mind

Should turn off the light
but rather than
toss and turn all night
reach for the pen

Love & kindness have a way
of brightening up the darkest day
And when your soft words I hear
you chase away my inner fear

Love me, would you yourself permiss
Yet you have not this mouth but kissed
Tis a great sacrifice you would make
I shall not ask of you these things

It was like finding a treasure
