Go find a fresh memory to replace
those old flowers you must bury
To put old memories in their place
does not mean you must forget

You may think there are words out there
Greater than yours but do they care
When I read between your fine lines
I see through your rhythm & rhymes
...

Starting over it is not so easy
Makes you feel kind of queasy
Oh those feelings come on back
But make you wonder what you lack
...

As I look up into your adoring eyes
My lips meet yours in sweet surprise
And as your fingers explore my skin
I will feel your soul & mine akin
...

It had taken a while
For time to heal
And then one day
She started to feel
...

The sun is shining
The sky is blue
And last night
I slept right through
...

There will always be places and people to remind me of you
And your family are still mine though life goes on without you
Sometimes though it still feels like it was just a nightmare
And then I open my eyes only to find, still you are not there
