were in love, were not in love, were in love, were not in love round and round we go, were in love infront of people, its just a fucking show, behind closed doors, underneath the perfect couple we percieve, the perfect image we want people to believe, lies the floors. shouting, screaming and schemeing.
I see everything going on, murders, evictions, prostitution and poverty Feeling the pain, right from my heart, to my brain People watching there back always on guard Don't know when someone's going to attack, don't know when there going to have to fight back,
I remember like it was yesterday when we use to skip school. On our way home we use to race through the subway You were my first love, my best friend, my soul mate, You were wife material you were the one,
Selling coke on the corner, in the rain No one there for you, no one to care for you No one to share your pain No one knows you by your real name
She's got my mind in a muddle, I don't usually cry, But I aint gonna lie, at my feet there's a puddle. I'm filling up as I'm trying to reflect, I'm feeling weak, I haven't slept;
She's got my mind in a muddle, I don't usually cry,
But I aint gonna lie, at my feet there's a puddle.
I'm filling up as I'm trying to reflect,
I'm feeling weak, I haven't slept;
I've been up since 4am, I'm wrecked
I've got no energy left.
I'm sat picturing substances going down my neck.
Anything to take this pain away, I'll do anything to bring her back for one more day
I just can't understand, how she's dead
