Biography of Toni O'Neill
Toni O'Neill Poems
So long cruel place of harmful thought I'm leaving now, I'm to abort The feeling's stayed for way too long The fear has made me not belong
How's It Feel?
How does it feel, the last day of September You're sitting on a bridge, looking out across a river How does it feel always being on your own?
I thought I was strong I thought I was tough I thought I could cope But it wasn't enough
You are the one I think about When things are tough, I need to shout I miss your face, your laugh, your smile The way we'd chat for quite a while
She sits there quiet in the dark of night Alone, afraid, confused; She wants to know what she's done wrong And why she's been abused;
So long cruel place of harmful thought
I'm leaving now, I'm to abort
The feeling's stayed for way too long
The fear has made me not belong
The pressure's reached it's boiling point
The pain is felt in every joint
The anger's taken over me
The hate's too much for you to see
