Skyline fading in evening haze...
The air is warm and still...
Music lost in the sweltering heat - and
No one brave enough to dance
i tire from thinking i'm going away
not far you can still hear from me
if dolphins would chuckle to sun
jump so high to reach where i am
distant cars crossing bridge
small as matchbox colorless
some are in a hurry; passing
disappearing in depth tunnels
Down we drove,
The rim of Philadelphia
Burning in the truck.
This morning the end of summer
washed around my ankles.
From the shifting shoreline
