I enjoyed ur poems and if you do also then that is all that matters. The rest like value, use of words and phrase's and clarity will change for you as you gain more experience in life and at ur age you have many years to build up in your mind what you want ur poetry to express. ur at the age when relationships should be enjoyed and do not rush into a comittment that after a few years is no turning out as you expected. Eighteen is a wonder age and you will have many relationships as you go thru life and ur perspective will change as you change. Get ur education first so you can take care of yourself and be a discriment about life and what you want from it. Good luck and is it poet for both genders or do we recognize the word poetess.Chow Chuck

I'm just hoping people will give me advice and tell me what I need to fix on my poems. And don't forget about telling me if they liked my poems or not.

Beautiful lime green.
Flash and flutter.
Dancing upon the walls.
Making such a clutter.
Those butterfly wings.

A light periwinkle blue.
As blue as the ocean.
Mysterious as the moon.
Reminds me of that sky, full of clouds.
Those butterfly wings.

A deep blood red.
So vibrant and full of life.
A deep, swirling crimson.
So loyal and true.
Those butterfly wings.

A sparkling sunny yellow.
So bright and cheerful.
Almost...

Lost Love

My love is lost for no one to see,
He is far away gone, gone unto me.
Why could he leave me, for no one to save?
That butthead, scourdrel, and knave.

How could he be so mean?
For he was everything, from handsome to lean.
He was everything I was searching for,
He was my destiny and oh, so much more.
