You are simply superb and extraordinarily elegant at choosing the right word in a poem at the right place.
It does not seem that you came so late to this world of poetry...rather you are born into our world for this noble deed. I am glad that I have someone here on this planet from whose poems I can derive poetic inspirations.

I am extolled to such great height,
When you call me a ‘guiding light’.
I read this with some fright
    Mingled with waves of delight

Thank you so much sweet friend..... Loke!

Poetess like you are but a few
Privileged are those who’re friends with you
And it’s not just your delightful writes
For many you’d been a guiding light

She is fine and strong and currently publishes more on Hello Poetry.
I call her the MOTHER OF POETRY.
Her poems are immensely and enormously rich and she is a Professor too.

I am positive that Bharati was getting you and me confused. Obviously, EXCEPT for the name and pronouns, she was getting it right!

Valsa George is one of my most favorite poet on this site. Her poems are so beautiful, so enriching, so enlightening! ! Her poems have wonderful expression, and deep philosophy. She is a real inspiration to other new poets. Her reviews are always positive and constructive.Though she remains at the top of the popularity chart, she is very humble and friendly towards all. I feel so lucky to have read Valsa Georges poetry and getting her as a friend and guide in my poetic journey.

Wielding a tool, mighty and spiky
Mightier than either the sword or rod
He reigns, monarch in Fancy's domain
Sketching life in fanciful colour and mode

Which with pain and strife fraught
Or bright with gaiety and grace
In finer yarn than the gossamer thread
On the fabric of words in befitting verse

He steals away from the noisy crowd
In to the stillness of the cloistered cell
To dwell with Fancy's mystic charms
Weaving downy dreams at will

He recounts forgotten tales of yore
Of bloody battles won and lost,
Of lovers united, amour defiled, ...

Face Of The City

The glow of a late Autumn Sunset,
Gleamed over the dense city streets.
Rushing wheels and honking horns,
Halted awhile for the traffic signs.

Through the rows of rushing motors,
Men on bikes ploughed their way.
They squished and squeezed through every gap,
Caring a naught for the traffic rules.
