In Warsaw Ghetto

Halina remembers how two
four year old girls in ghetto
sang for their supper
but received nothing.
The girls had angel voices
but one day they died,
starvation claimed them.
Halina Robinson survived the ghetto
but remains haunted still
and two angel children died
while heaven and man looked on
still she asked question why?

Roots Past And Present

We all need our roots man growing,
even blind man lost is knowing.
There's a human need to identify,
with that which we can't deny.

Our physical spiritual family home,
where the hearts never upon loan.
In countryside, city or province bound,
our past roots can be found around.
