A taste that lingers,
A feeling that dwells.
The light touch of your fingers,
Breaking me out of this hell.

Words that don't matter,
A silence that stings.
My heart on a platter,
Come, let us open our wings.

If I fall, you fall,
Hand in hand.
If I run, you run,
Hand in hand.

If you fall, I'll fall,
Hand in hand.
If you run, I'll run,
Hand in hand.

Forever is forever,
As long as it lasts.

The patter of the rain,
Like droplets of ink.
A white page turns black,
Without having to think.
