The mess keeps piling up.
In the storage room
the number of empty boxes
keeps growing.
In the wardrobe
the number of outfits that are
too small, too big
keeps increasing.
In the corners which are
always too neglected,

Drowning Fish

I must be a fish
in human form.
It's so hard to breathe
outside the water
and I'm drowning,
dying slowly.
I feel the life
draining out of me
as I struggle to survive.
I am desperate for
the ocean
Let me jump in
and disappear from this
suffocating world.

Nobody sees me dying.
