    Oh Gardner Poet

    Your poetry is like sugar
    on autumn leaves
    no need to crush them
    for the sweet fragrance

you are a poet of class indeed
in the list of best 500 poems
when will we achieve or attain
    such a moment
of holding hands in the garden of roses
where I hope to be one
    saught after by everyone

    a blue bird of narcissism
    an egoist poet
off the cuff in the desert

    none yet knew
but my what a poet are you
    but why only 25 poems
I have inked many a thousands
many read a non poet me

    you are an eagle flying
    okay soaring
    come abide with me
I am a poet of style free
a Niagara I may one day be

    till that happens
can we meet across the Internet at least

    You are a POET TREE
I'd like to bask in the shadow of thee
    will you let me
    O poet gracious
how much indebted I shall be
to all those thereafter read me

    You would I suppose...

Liked Á child's Reflection' better than the 'Gardener'. Very touching. Very true about this world full of conflict.

I read your poem, A Hint of what Is Beautiful. Nurses attending the needs of the wounded is beautiful. You are right about the condition of the world today. We do have an option. Why not pray to God?

actually i believe it is POEMHUNTER'S ERROR. it seems they have put butterfly comments on this page for comments about the author!

  • Bri Edwards Bri Edwards (6/10/2017 3:18:00 PM)

the last two comments were meant to go on the page for the poet's poem Butterfly. it is my error. bri: (

PH changed my last comment a little bit. where the last comment now says a., please read as a period.

to read and continue with commenting on this poem is a bit of a struggle for me. i can't understand how some readers seem to have no trouble with it. is it really my shortcomings? i DO have some, of course!

check spelling of nourrish and the placement/use of a. where you might have wanted a comma.

the poem seems to be about a butterfly, flowers etc., but i'm pretty sure it is symbolic in some places. i don't
    'do well' with reading symbolism.

the wording, for me, is a bit too complex i think. if i had more computer time i might spend more of it on this poem.

let me take a quick look at one more poem.

    bri :)

A Hint At What Is Beautiful?

Beautiful is the 'thank you'
Wrapped with gratitude,
Offered to peace prone people
Who offer what is real-themselves
To nurse with love and humility
napalm asphyxiated victims
in our stained world

veiling ambition with face of
humanity.Beautiful is the moment
when sunlit world fades away
And with it mind made mirror
While look inward drawn, sight insight led,
and heart shuts out desire to let in

A Baby's View Of

I came as tomorrow
Swaddled in unawareness
To your warm womb
Without your choice
Or mine
Destined to up date
With time
Our human tree
But before love
Grew into flesh and words
What is unfinished creation-
A precipitation of blood
Became my transcendence.
