Spriha Roy Poems

In the moonlit night;
She resides.
In the darkness;
She hides her weakness.
...

In your next birth,
May you see her worth.
For all she wanted was all,
That she could take to the world above.
...

Staring at her, as if she is the devil,
But she is nothing compared to the real evil.
The evil, which drowned her,
In the sea of a bloody massacre.
...

In a world warm outside, yet within, it's icy cold,
Why this paradox, untold?
Can you answer why?
...

No shoulder to cry on,
No one to help her go on.
That's how she grew,
With love and warmth, quite few.
...

It's been a while,
She has had a real smile.
All her life, she was the one to sacrifice,
She did so in hope that it would suffice.
...

Silence so deafening,
Along with the reality, which is painfully stinging.
The truth lay hanging,
Yet she went by without noticing.
...

Love so beautiful,
It can be deceitful.
Pure love is fictional,
For, nothing in this world is rational.

Ugly Creature

In the moonlit night;
She resides.
In the darkness;
She hides her weakness.
She has nothing to lose,
And nothing to gain;
For; her heart has a black stain.
Carrying hatred and rage;
Her inner child,
Got thrown into an unbreakable cage.
She calls loneliness her friend;
For; only that sticks with her till the end.
A diary in hand,
She strides along the hot-blazing sand.
Not a destination on mind,
She has become blind.
Blind, from the reality;
She could not handle its brutality.
Even though she resists;
In the moonlit night she exists.

Spriha Roy Quotes

Anything or anyone can be your puppet if u know which string to pull.

In his eyes the blank canvas got splashed with all the colours possible and in a messy manner, yet to him it created the most beautiful picture, her.

It was as if a hundred poisonous needles were being pushed down my throat and I was accepting them because I knew you were the one pushing them.

You were the dawn to my long term night, yet you set too early.
