It's 12: 30 am.
The city is sleeping,
the road is quiet, calm,
a cool breeze touches, taking along.
A man was sleeping on the footpath,
beside the road.
Is it a peaceful or a deadly sleep?
Restful, safe, or unsafe?
He is lost, lost in deep sleep,
no confusion, no hesitation,
just a peaceful sleep.
A peaceful sleep,
like a mother soothes the newborn child into deep sleep,
melting the chaos with her simple pure touches,
touches of unconditional love.
And where do you get unconditional love?
Your family, nature.
At night, nature soothes us;
No matter how our day is,
it takes all our chaos,
puts us into deep sleep.
For it's eternal!
Thus, the city is sleeping, and so is this man.
A peaceful sleep.
Does peaceful sleep always need to be secure?
Does security even matter to this man?
Security brings comfort.
Comfort brings concerns, illusions, dependency.
Comfort sometimes traps and tricks you.
The more the comfort, the more the mind freaks out,
to the extent that one day it starts doubting everything.
Neither peace nor sleep stays!
Now, comfort has swallowed security,
and in turn, security has swallowed sleep.
A tired mind sleeps anyway, anywhere,
feeling nothing, fearing nothing.
It is too tired to fear and too engrossed in sleep.
A peaceful sleep.
A peaceful sleep doesn't always need security!
