(One)
When we log into PH we look out for friends
Especially those who have carved new trends
Robert Murray Smith has been a trend-setter
Impressive was his writing unique every letter
No idea when he opened the door and left
We were taken aback as it was like a theft
He is conspicuous by his absence you know
Hard hitting- It has come to us as real blow
Mercury dipped, such was his disappearance
Depression followed and created a turbulence
His poems were insightful and psychological
Shaped by experience not the least mythical
(Two)
Rejoice as we must- we have gotten a reason
Our Friend came back to brighten the season
Flying poetic pigeons can never be a myth
Enacting the act is none other than Mr Smith
After a short stint of absence, Robert Murray Smith has come back to rock the stage, this time pledged on cleaning up the rotten mess and giving a face lift to our site! A great bouquet of appreciation for a fellow poet!
Thank you, Valsa ji, for sharing your views about our fellow poets and their contribution to this site or otherwise. You have always been so kind and supportive.
A great poem ! It also pained me when I found that Robert Murray Smith's account vanished and also his so many comments on my poems. He is a great poetic voice on this Site and inspiration to so many.It is equally a great pleasure to see him back here.My request to Robert Murray Smith and also to other poets, never go away with out stating a reason because you may not possibly know how your friends will feel hurt and how they miss you.
I sincerely appreciated many poems of Robert Murray Smith. But I don't understand why he makes sudden disappearance. If any other poet is posing as Robert Murray Smith, I feel sorry for him too.
Others on PH, such as Dr. Swain and others unnamed have also been suspected. Kim Barney believes there is a sure way to detect deception.
Unfortunately for PH and perhaps RMS as well, there has in past months been suspicion, among several PH members, that he may be one who sends unflammatory remarks to others.
Very interesting, and intriquing, in revisiting this poem. Rajnish, both Robert and you were among the first to welcome me to this site. And for that, I am indebted to you.
Daddy was never gone at all. He was merely using of of his multiple aliases.

Thank you very much, Geeta ji, for being so generous in appreciating this small and humble work. I am rather honoured. It is, in fact, the presence of mutual respect and understanding among poet friends that keeps us going together. High ratings from you do inspire me a great deal.
