Seclusion In Leicester, North Carolina: 30 Days' Worth ...[ Bri's Break From Civilization; Short; True (All Of It)] Poem by Bri Edwards

Seclusion In Leicester, North Carolina: 30 Days' Worth ...[ Bri's Break From Civilization; Short; True (All Of It)]

Rating: 5.0

My mate picked a 'good place' to rent for many reasons, ...
but found, too late, it's got no Wi-Fi in this or any seasons.
This is our 3rd day of living up another winding gravel lane;
with the help of books and town's library I'll not go insane!

There's also no cellular phone reception for either one of us,
but at least there's a ('party line')landline phone.No Fuss!
The laundry's fine, the toilet flushes, there's a nice refrigerator,
and we've even watched some TV......{ Later I may find a rhyme!}

I'm using a library guest pass now, so I will now continue to hurry,
to get this done and sent off SO you, you, ...and YOU won't worry!

It is in a way nice to have an occasional change from the hurry bury of city life.! To have been thrown into a kind of primitive existence can be exciting....! Sometimes, we get tired of familiar scenes! Hope both of you are having a great time with moderate facilities. When it is your choice, there is no room for complaints! So enjoy your break and come back with your batteries charged!

some time one can enjoy the seclusion though all of us may have different limits for enjoying seclusion. Glad you have access to library. please share and write about some other thing closest to you that make your life easy there.

Without wi-fi and cell phones I imagine difficulties for you.But I think it is a seclusion by choice and not force. You are having the company of books and so enjoy your break from internet and computers.

“All's well that ends well”. This may be what You've been missing. Privacy, peace and personal comfort. It’s very good that you have at least some necessary facilities. It is a pity and somehow bad that there are no Wi-Fi or cell phone there. Nevertheless, there is a library, books. Keep your nose up.
