The Past To Forsake Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

The Past To Forsake

As I lay dying,
let go of my hand

Bid me farewell,
my words to withstand

As a last wish,
your love may I take

Into tomorrow
—the past to forsake

(Villanova Pennsylvania: December,2016)
