Good Fortune Poem by Tiffany Koch

Good Fortune

Today I feel hateful
Wrathful
Disapproving
I was ovulating only days ago and
Want to blame someone for not even being able to enjoy the Euphoria of it
Of opening to the future of me
To letting in the good light
I blamed God
I tried that out
But God is so kind and she said
Hey honey,
You know you can change all of it?
Maybe not like how the world says
To shift things around until they are level
Because you can't level rubble and
You can't make a broken stone whole again
But you can elevate your senses to beauty
You can be with me in that
