When A Nurse Smiles Poem by Kevin J. Muricio

When A Nurse Smiles

Rating: 4.5

There in the ward
In her whites she's walking
Without the cap twisted-
And you're too sick to live
Only yesterday you wished-
To be in the bottomless pit
Now you eat your thoughts
Sure you know

When a nurse smiles
No need for drugs
Your eyes shine of life
You can now sit on the bed
And tell her you're healed
Yes, when a nurse smiles
Everything becomes fine
For her frown can kill
