Angel

Purity is such a sacred truth,
Yet it seems not enough.
There's something missing,
Some form of affection those have yet to discover.
The constant turning of the stomach,
Endless thoughts of that one night.
His voice still soothing you,
Although he's not actually there.
Studdering and shivering,
When he's not there and when he is.
The feeling of purpose,
To be in someone's life.
Yes Dad I am your angel,
But no Dad I am my own,
And you will always be my protector,
Yet you will never be there when it happens.
I have to hide my feelings,
Or be stripped of them,
I have to tell my friends I have something to do,
I have somewhere to go, someone to see,
Because I don't want him to give them the look.
Having all guy friends can be a problem,
As he says.
Too many Abby,
There is no reason.
Except I love them,
They don't strip me of my truth,
They are rough and stuff,
What I crave.
Yet he sees none of that,
I am unpure and need to be stripped.
Stripped of thoughts, motion, life.
I am his Angel, Forever...
