A rainbow can stretch across a morning sky
Is it searching for you and I
With promises of a happy ending you can't buy

Outside the rain is pounding
And the wind is sounding
Sounding like hell
My head is filled with haunting fears

Kiss me softly, kiss me slow
Let me savor
The fruits of our labor
Close your eyes and let the feeling flow

Love is a capricious lady
And sometimes she drives me crazy
Sometimes she can be so exotic
With eyes that prove to be hypnotic

I haven’t got the time to waste
With memories that linger close enough to taste
Thought I often replay those memories of our past
Our love still crumbled from all the stones that were cast

My heart is like a dead flower
Lying dry and withered with no power
