her eyes are red with crying and black with her eye-liner
her heart is broken from a love lost

Trips to the moon
secret marriages
vacations in France
undying love

you hear the screams
you see the bruises
yet you do nothing to stop it
you hear the pleas and cries

Like light and dark
happy and sad
exciting and scary
positive and negative
...

battling for her life but putting on a brave face
fighting a private war but never showing signs of it
she's a soldier but you'll never know it
battle scars, old war stories and tears are things you 'll see from her
