should i be scared
or should i run
no longer ive dared
to hide from the sun
out in the open
for all to see
but my eyes are folden
lead me to thee
in love and light
and light in love
to write letters at night
and send by messagner dove
i count my scars
and wait for you
they see me in bars
to dream of you, too.
