then what am I to say

the other side is hidden

Guess I forgot to pray;
that's not the cause
of my dismay.

I never will forget her kiss
she was my universe

she was there when it began

if death is but a lasting dream
then I will gladly sleep

there I may roam into the past

The new mystic may speak of spring,
but is an unfamiliar way.

For spring is nothing more

my brain is in a shamble
I guess it's got to ramble

and where it goes
...

those bedroom eyes
the beginning of the dance
before the passions seized us
and put us in a trance
...

with one last chance to be alive
how do I ready myself for death

I quietly watch the pulse of wind
...

in woods upon a moonless night
I lose myself

and just before the dark sets in
...

The passion of
a flushed embrace

is paradise,
