Can I say what comes of the future Emma? Can you tell what inside my mind? The sense of you comes calling whenever I think of who I left behind. The one why kept me rapt on Sligo shore and who did not knock upon my door that gentle woman who creation blessed who got my heart beating in my chest.

The way you greeted me on the street the hand so small and sweet. The woman whose mind gives me a trill and shape does stun me still. That face those feet that mind I left behind the warmth within so loved by this one’s heart and mind.

Emma

Can I say what comes of the future Emma? Can you tell what inside my mind? The sense of you comes calling whenever I think of who I left behind. The one why kept me rapt on Sligo shore and who did not knock upon my door that gentle woman who creation blessed who got my heart beating in my chest.

The way you greeted me on the street the hand so small and sweet. The woman whose mind gives me a trill and shape does stun me still. That face those feet that mind I left behind the warmth within so loved by this one’s heart and mind.

So to you I write this poem in celebration of the warmth and woman whose mind did not leave this cold heart blind to the beauty in yesterday’s time reminiscing sometimes makes me wish that you were here but I did ditch the women of my dreams.

The voice the cut me to the core and left my heart smouldering on her floor my woman of yesterday’s thirst so treasured that she still gets this heart to burst and the scent of loves forlorn but I stoke loves fire and its sworn to love you through my longest days and will keep that memory will keep through next lives days.

Oh Emma that name is like a trumpet to my inner being yet I walk these streets and that woman I am not seeing. Heart and soul you captured me in quiet contemplation. Seeing and believing is so hard so find yet my heart beats with anticipation. Oh bunny lady of my past come be with me and I shall celebrate the creative beauty that is Emma.
