A Wait For A Word

Today I will wish for those words to come,
tomorrow I'll do the same.
Im wondering if that time will arrive,
my heart is surely to blame.

The question is big the answer is small,
such a simple thing to say.
Just think it through and be totally sure,
I know it wont be today.

As we spend more time together it grows,
that feeling that grabs inside.
It is the times that you leave when I find,
that I'ts you that makes me tied.

Happiness for you is all that I want,
And I'm hoping its with me.
I know if you only said the word yes,
regret is not what you'd see.

It doesn't take much to already know,
that we are an awesome pair.
Smiles and laughs are all that we have shared,
a no... just would not be fair.
