The Best Poem Of Cassandra Dillon

'Never Give Up'

Believe me when I say
That I know that it is hard
What is hard really?
Let's take a look
Ok you have an idea
Maybe something that you are good at
And others feel that you are great at what you do
At first you looked at your talent as a hobby
Now you are taking that hobby seriously
So now that talent turns into a gift
And that hobby turns turns into a profession
Everything seems to be moving along just fine
Excitement is expressed
Until you run into that bridge
The one that's holding you in traffic for days,
Months, years
That mountain that's in your way is discouraging you
Not knowing what to do
Should you walk around that mountain
Hey, I say go get your mountain climbing gear
Yes, it is going to be one hell of a climb
But it will be much easier if you come prepared
God will prepare you
With the toolsd that you need
To get through the traffic and climb the mountain
Our eyes deceive us daily.

From Book Titled 'Life Experiences' From Where I'M Standing.
