It was a day full of cold and frost,
On the earth fell a snowflake embossed,
When I saw the sky so white, I felt lost,
It was the welcome winter, home at last.
...
Tear brimmed eyes scan the garbage
In search of cans and food
The eyes that never saw
The sight of playgrounds or school
...
The Winter
It was a day full of cold and frost,
On the earth fell a snowflake embossed,
When I saw the sky so white, I felt lost,
It was the welcome winter, home at last.
The mood was full of laughter and fun,
From children who suddenly started to run,
To announce the arrival of winter to everyone,
And out came the people one by one.
The young ones threw snowballs at the others,
At friends, siblings, sisters and brothers,
hopping right from one place to another,
Much to the excitement of every other.
The view may be, but the mood was not gray,
It was livened up by the laugh and play,
They screamed and shouted, ' It's winter! Hooray! ',
It was all so lovely amidst the white spray.
