Progressive disease of nervous system, tremors, muscular
rigidity, body closing down with brain remaining bright and
clear.

Standing forlorn, alone hidden in a thicket
Battled, bloody, weary, defeated for harem
By younger stag, new monarch of the Glen.
He waits for wounds to heal to fight again

Tomorrow will be better than today
My father said to me, when I went to him
After hurting myself, crying with childhood tears
My hurt kissed away with hugs to make me safe.

Grief shrouds my soul, breaking the heart asunder
Allowing tears to blind and depression to reign
With no more sun or moon but overwhelming darkness
And joy and happiness lost within a fierce battering storm.

Grief commands the heart making tears flow
Forcing surrender to ruthless whirlpool of despair
With days bleak and each minute full of sorrow.
Memories of you, so vivid, are all that remain
