Might it be,
That when I look into your eyes
And see that shy contempt
Fearfulness to no bounds

I sat down
I picked up a pen
And vowed to write
Something beautiful
...

Vowing to myself one night
I swore myself to love one right
To make one heart swell
Until the toll of the death bell
...

Lest the wind stop blowing
Or the sun fade away
The rain stop raining
And the moon stop shining
...

I sit here,
Knowing not what to write,

So, I suppose I will write
