Pain (Agony)

Pain; unrelenting and swift on my mind.
No one can escape, no comfort to find.
A thousand needles buried in your head,
You'd rather be put out of your misery, shot dead.
Solace found only in moments of awe,
Just do about anything to avoid the pounding saw!
Substance and circumstance changed everyday,
Anything to just run, to get away.
Visceral or not, dull or sharp, you must feel...
The gasp of pain, infinite and surreal.
