The shadows will once again drown
In the nighttime mists

I want to smile, but I can only fake one with genuine fear.
The fear of failing, dying in your heart.
I want to laugh, but I can only stutter.

Walk around the meadows,
with its fog and its shadows
and notice the light
That sparkles so bright

At the end of the day
when all life's meanings have gone away

Ghosts

Once the sun has gone down
The shadows will once again drown
In the nighttime mists
Where nothing exists
But the ghosts that are left behind
Crying, lying, endlessly dying
But we, we are blind,
To the ones who keep on trying
To catch our eye
With their screams in the distance
That never come nigh
Still, we are unaware of their existence
We do not want to accept
This simple fact.
