We walk paths on our own way,
while others try to force us
to walk paths with only them.
Some get ungrateful

The lingering shadows of those
who are gone from our grasp
bring comfort to those
who had to say behind.

For days my world seemed empty,
as the words had flown
never it seemed to return.
Then I woke up this morning

The electric blue of a lightning sky
lit up the country lane momentarily.
She walked alone
with her scarf blowing in the wind
...

The stranger sat upon the park bench,
and looked across the Lough.
Smoke from his pipe
blended with the cool morning breeze.

Note: I don’t often put poems up that are not my own. But at the end this poem came with a request from the unknown author who wanted lots of people to read it by passing it on. As I read the poem I understood why and decide if I post it as the readership would end up worldwide. Sitting in a Doctor’s waiting room,
is enough to make you feel more ill than what you are.
As I sat patiently waiting for my number to be called,
when Mrs Johnson came in.
