Dawn Leigh Biography

I am me...that's all. I am orginally on here as Leigh Ladd, but my email account got hacked & everything got screwed up from there. I ended up having to create a new account on this site (which sucks) . So, now I go by Dawn Leigh. Writing helps me let go of feelings that should never be kept inside, but yet never spoken in live voice. All of my poems under the name Leigh Ladd are still on the site, so feel free to view & comment. I have been through a lot, so don't worry about hurting my feelings.)

The Best Poem Of Dawn Leigh

She

She got the ring on Christmas eve,
The ring that you had orginally bought for me.

One hundred roses for how many days that you loved her,
Yet, I never had any flowers to remember.

Her smile was as perfect as the morning sun,
My smile showed that I was the heart-broken one.

The tears that she cried, you wiped dry with your sleeve,
When seeing mine, you just left me to weep.

My vases remain empty,
My finger, forever bare,
My tears are now an acean,
Yet, my smile is still here.
