Age doesn't matter. Place doesn't matter. What matters is the writing. I hope the poems I write will help you find the true meaning of life, with which I will not bore you with the full explanation right now. If you want to know, feel free to ask me in a comment. Thank you. Enjoy the poem(s) .)
Alley Cat (A Queer Poem For Children)
in my alley
there lurks a cat
his coat is dirty
thick and black
just a glance
his eyes aglow
before he scurries
through the snow
i know him
does he know me?
why does he seem so lonely?
of all the alleys,
why is it mine
the devil cat
chooses to roam?
my slushy alley
he wanders and combs,
hunting alone.
he has no home.
when all is still
he waits on my porch.
until i come
to scare him away.
it won't be long
before i leave
this old apartment
for good.
and the alley cat will
forget me.
but i will
remember him.
