Cut off the
phone
turned the
music

Hovering in the clutter of poverty,
No smiles on ther faces,
Looking skyward, having a
Confrontation with God...

Clock striking the eleventh hour
And
I sit and watch
And wait

Some where in this life,
Someone else
Sings a sad song
Of longing...

He told me I had done it before.
Said enough was enough,
He could take no more...
