leafs and blossoms still

a white-dressed fairy
born amidst the foliage green
yearning to be fruit

woodpecker beaks hard
hammers, chisels a new hole
round, deep, on tree trunk

walking up the tree
much better than Spiderman

hidden by a cloud
a crescent moon longingly
waits to become whole

nothing happens to
crows perched on high tension wires
lineman falls down dead

monsoon has set in
croaking breaks the still of nights
brings snakes to old ponds
